Why dont Irish-Americans demand retributions for the way they were treated years ago?

Tens of thousands of Irish immigrants were brought to america as indentured Servants. Officially they were not slaves but rather like miners of the next century were forced into social economical situations they could never escape from. Simply put they arrived in debt and were forced to work along the slaves but were charged for all of their living expenses. As the contract progressed the debt mounted to a point no one could ever escape it. Why is this fact glossed over historically? I have no idea. I don't think it has anything to do with greed because I don't believe African American will ever see any retributions. Its all shameful and embarrassing parts of our history I hope are never repeated by anyone any where.
