Will Ford ever revive the Mercury brand?
The Mountaineer, Grand Marquis, Milan, Sable, Cougar, Villager, and others were all great vehicles. I see this as a mistake. Mercury was the filler of the gap between Lincoln and Ford and was for luxury at an affordable price. Ford has better sales than Lincoln now. They should not only revive it, but make more diverse vehicles rather than a rebadged Ford. The ones that I think should be revived are the long lost Villager, as a rebadged Flex with different front and rear designs. The Mountaineer with the 2010 model style with an Expedition-like front end and a Navigator-like rear end. The Milan as it was. The Grand Marquis based on the new Taurus with luxury look. Why isnt Ford smart?
